Andres, Susan and I did a 20 mile run this morning up the hills in Griffith Park.  It was pouring rain and mud up there, and the roads are in real bad shape.  If the 2/16/10 ride is kept on the calendar, I would NOT bring a road bike, MTB only or MUNI.  There was debris, boulders, glass, trash and mud everywhere.  Smiley

i agree... rode up from fern dell and it was closed to vehicles. better not bring your road bikes if it's still that way on the 16th. will try to ride up again this week and i'll update you guys here.

We will be riding there next Tues the 20th.  Anybody been up there lately?  Was wondering if I should bring my Mountain Bike or Road Bike.

a couple of wash out sections of sand not impassable to road bikes... not bad for the most part. They are doing alot of road construction from the merry go round to the pony rides.. Angry
